Skills Clinic Group Tour

Service Description

Created with the goal of helping to reduce unsafe paddling for people who can't afford a lesson, the SUP Skills Clinic Group Tour is a non commercial educational activity made possible by volunteer work by certified instructors and SUP Adventures BC offering our infrastructure without costs. The $75 are not a payment, just a support to mandatory insurance of the volunteer instructor. The SUP Skills Clinic Group Tour consists of a 2-3 hours day paddle in some of the most beautiful, pristine and ideal places to paddle in British Columbia. During the paddle participants receive one-on-one coaching from an experienced certified instructor in order to improve their SUP skills at the same time they learn about amazing places to SUP and meet other paddlers in their same skill level. The launching location is generally 1-1:30 (maximum 2 hours) drive from Downtown Vancouver. In order to join the sessions you MUST have a PFD, a leash, a whistle and a plan for falling on the water (wetsuit, dry suit, drybag with warm clothes, whatever is your relationship with cold). Let us know if you need help with any of these. In order to give each student enough one-on-one coaching every session has a maximum of 7 participants. We need a minimum of 3 people registered in order to run the clinic. If we don't have 3 people registered 24 hours before the Skills Clinic Group Tour, it will be postponed or canceled. The limit of participants per session is 7 paddlers. The sessions are rain or shine. Inadequate wind conditions will cancel the session. If less than 3 people (other 2 besides yourself) register for the session you will be able to opt between keeping the credit or a refund. We have a Skills Clinic Group Tour Package where you can buy 4 and get 5 sessions.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please get in touch with us 24 hours before your lesson. If you cancel less than 48 hours before the lesson begins you won't be reimbursed.
